Recently, we were contacted by a professor at an Eastern Orthodox seminary who wanted to know what kind of resources were available in Accordance that might be of interest to Eastern Orthodox users. I compiled the list below for him but afterwards thought it might be of use to other Accordance users as well. In addition to our Eastern Orthodox users, anyone who is interested in subjects like Patristic studies, the Septuagint, and related areas may find this list valuable.

With the renewed interests in these subject areas across many expressions of biblical and theological scholarship, our offerings like these for the Accordance Library will only continue to grow. It’s worth mentioning that Accordance has a number of Early Church writings exclusively created in-house with morphologically-tagged Greek that can be placed in parallel with an English translation. These writings are included in the list below.

The Accordance Timeline: Expanded Edition

Although it was not in my original list, I should also point out that we offer the Ethiopic (Ge’ez) Bible in the Mahibere Hawaiyat Edition, which features the broadest biblical corpus of any Orthodox expression. Plus, new titles from Ancient Faith Publishing just came under contract and will be released soon.

Did I miss any titles that ought to be added to the list? Do you have suggestions for similar or related content you’d like to see made available for Accordance? Please leave your thoughts in the comment section.
