This book provided me with a good overview of the current debates within Koine Greek on various issues. While I give this book a 5-star rating, I felt that Benjamin Noonan’s similar book on Hebrew/Aramaic was better presented than this one, because the Campbell’s personal opinions come through more forcefully here (from my perspective) than Noonan’s book. That said, this book can certainly help those like me who are at the intermediate stage of learning Greek understand some of the nuances of the academic debates concerning Greek.
