Wright’s commentary is one of the most helpfull tools to dive into a New Testament text when your focus is to preach or to teach in church. Wright does not only give exegetical insights, he draws paralells from the texts to different con-texts: movies or other pieces of art or to stories that he experienced in his life. That way he helps to speak out God’s Word to people of our time, people of the 21st century, by doing exactly this, page by page.
